Winter Holiday Closure 2024
Please note the PSC will be CLOSED for winter recess from Monday, 12/23/24 – Friday, 1/3/25, and will reopen on Monday, 1/6/25 at 10am. The front desk phone line and voicemails will not be checked during the break.
If you are experiencing a clinical crisis, please call the 24-hour crisis hotline at 1-800-273-8255, text the word “HOME” to 741741 to text with a trained crisis counselor, seek immediate support from your nearest emergency room or dial 911.
Hours
We are available by phone (217-333-0041) for any concerns or help with referrals at the following times:

Thursday: 10am – 8pm
Friday: 1:30pm – 5pm
Saturday: Closed
The Business office operates Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Location
The Psychological Services Center is located on the 3rd floor at 505 East Green Street in Champaign (between 5th and 6th Streets).
From Green St, you will see the Signature Grill and Moge Tee UIUC on the first floor.
Traveling By Bus
The MTD Green Line stops on Green and 6th St. In addition, other buses stop nearby. For bus schedules and routes, call 217-384-8188 or go to www.cumtd.com
Parking
A public parking deck can be found at 509 E. Healey St. between 5th and 6th streets. Healey St is one block north of Green St. and parallel to Green St. Healey is a one-way street going west.
Steps for Parking, Getting to the PSC, and Parking Validation at 509 E. Healey:
- Pull into the 509 E. Healey garage and insert a debit/credit card.
- The PSC is located on the 3rd floor at 505 E Green St in the Campus Safety building:
- When leaving the garage, walk south to the crosswalk at the intersection of 6th Street and Green, towards GameDay Spirit.
- The PSC is located on Green Street, across from Legends and next to Forage Kitchen and Potbelly’s.
- After entering the building, take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
- Tell the receptionist you parked in the parking garage and you will receive a validation ticket.
- Upon exiting the garage, put your debit/credit card into the machine first (ensure to use the same card you inserted when you entered), followed by scanning your validation ticket.

In addition, the UIUC C7 Structure (John Street) has metered visitor parking on the top level. It is accessed from John St, is most easily approached by going south on 4th and east on John. (Avoid 5th and 6th Streets.) There are a number of one way streets around the campus. John Street is one of them. So when you leave the C7 structure, turn right on John, turn right on 6th (one-way south) and then right on Daniel which will take you back to 4th Street. Turn right on 4th to get to Springfield. We do not currently offer parking validation for metered parking.
In addition, metered 2 hr. street parking is available on 5th and 6th streets for $1.00 per hour. We do not currently offer parking validation for metered parking.
Parking after 5:00pm and on weekends
Many campus lots are free after 5 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends including C7. The lot on Healey and 6th St. is another option. Please note that Healey is one-way going West and 6th is one-way going South.
When parking anywhere on campus, please pay attention to all signs posted near the parking spaces, as some are reserved 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and most will tow cars parked before 5pm on weekdays. For assistance with directions or parking options, please call our office at 217-333-0041.
