COVID-19 INFORMATION

As of August 2023, we have resumed normal in-person services, however, telehealth services are available as needed. We at the Psychological Services Center are working to provide mental health services to the community in the safest way possible.

As such, we continue to take on new clients for assessment and therapy. Should you be interested in receiving services or need support reaching other local providers, you may reach us by calling (217) 333-0041 for screening and/or further referral information.

We recognize that the ongoing global pandemic represents an unprecedented and trying time for us all. The link here provides some resources and tips for coping with the stress associated with COVID-19. Many of the resources are specific to the Champaign-Urbana area and students. However, they may be of use to others as well.

We do not make any of these decisions lightly, and they have been and are being made in conjunction with input from many other colleagues on campus and in comparable university clinics across the country. The heart of our priority during this time remains continuity of care for our clients, while recognizing the need to partake in proactive measures for the broader health of our community. We look forward to fully reopening our physical facility as soon as it is indicated that it’s in the best interest of our community to do so. Please check back on our website for further updates.

Sincerely,

The PSC Team
